“Pure Handloom · Pure Earth · Pure You.”
Vusang began with a search for a saree and grew into a deeper connection with the people who make cloth. Since 2021, the label has worked to bring handloom traditions and thoughtful design together.
We collaborate with a close-knit weaving unit of approximately 10–12 weavers across West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha, creating pure textiles with transparent provenance and enduring respect for the hands that create them.

Bengal HeritageFrequently Asked Questions
Helpful insights on caring for your handloom garments and understanding the nuances of artisanal weaves.
What makes Vusang handloom authentic?
Every garment is handwoven on wooden pit looms by skilled artisans. We have a strict 'No Powerloom Ever' policy, ensuring the rhythm of human craft is preserved in every piece.
How should I care for my handwoven garments?
Due to the delicate nature of pure natural fibers and hand-set dyes, we recommend dry cleaning for silk and tussar garments. Handloom cottons can be gently hand-washed in cold water using a mild organic detergent. Always dry in shade.
Are variations in weave or print considered defects?
No. Subtle irregularities in yarn thickness, weave tension, and leaf pigment prints are hallmarks of genuine handcrafting. They confirm that the cloth was shaped by human hands rather than an industrial machine.
